I have been taking my older Volvos there since about 2009 on the recommendation of my independent in another city. I've always been impressed by all aspects of service at Import, and will continue to take my cars there until either they or I check out.

Greeted me as I walked in and took care of me right away. No wait. Explained the work done to my car prior to working on it and then again when the work was completed. Recommended a good tire company.

Rick and staff ALWAYS give me/my vehicles the best care. They aren't looking to charge me for service/parts not necessary. They do my annual 'checkup' and take my list of issues to analyze, inform me and correct if we agree what should be done......I keep coming back because of their professionalism, care and concern. In the long run, they make MORE $$ from me taking care of our 2 vehicles, rather than overcharging and 'cheating' me....if they did that, they would lose my business. They may make more $$ [per vehicle] for that single visit, but in the long run they lose (plus my word-of-mouth to friends/family to NOT go there....). Keep up the good work, Rick and Lanie. Rick and his team are fantastic! They are the reason I always seek out a local, independent mechanic. Since moving to Tucson last year They are the only shop I trust with my vehicles- a Tacoma and a Corolla. They are very thorough in their work and go above-and-beyond by sharing their insights and discoveries with you so that you can understand what is happening with your car's systems.
